How to Root Moto E4 Plus

Warning :

We are not responsible for any bricked devices. You are doing this at your own risk.Make sure your Moto E4 Plus is charged 70-80 percent. 

This Method Work With Below Model Numbers Only :

1. XT1770
2. XT1772
3. XT1773

To Check Your Model Number Goto Settings -> About Phone -> Hardware Information

Note : Please Confirm With Your Device Model Number.

Please Ensure You Have Enabled USB Debugging and OEM Unlock in Developer Option.

Make sure that ADB and FASTBOOT drivers are Installed on your computer and working.

Please Note this will wipe your data.Take Backup Before Doing This Method.

Follow the Below Steps :

Step 1 : Boot Into FastBoot Mode.

Turn off your Device. Press and hold Power + Volume Down until you see a Start screen.

Step 2 : Unlock Bootloader.

1. Connect Your Device To Computer.
2. Open Adb and Fastboot Cmd Screen.Enter 'fastboot oem unlock'.
3. Now Prompt will appear on your phone to Confirm Action use Volume UP Key to Confirm.
4. Once you Confirm Bootloader will be Unlocked.
5. Now Reboot Your Device using 'fastboot reboot'. 

Step 3 : Install TWRP Recovery.

1. Please Ensure You Have Enabled USB Debugging and OEM Unlock in Developer Option.
2. Download Twrp Recovery from this Link Download Twrp.
3. After Downloading Place it in platform-tools Folder.
4. Navigate to platform-tools folder hold Shift button and right click on white space popup will appear select 'Open Command Window Here'. 
5. Enter this Command 'fastboot flash recovery recovery.img' Hit Enter.
6. Yo-HO you Have Successfully Installed Twrp Recovery.
7. Now we will boot into Twrp.

Step 4 : Boot into Twrp Recovery.

1. Turn off your device.
2. Press and Hold Power button and + Volume Down button for few seconds.now device will boot into bootloader mode.
3. Hold Volume Down Button until you see recovery screen.
4. Press Power button to boot into recovery mode.

Step 5 : Root Moto E4 Plus.

1. Once you enter into twrp Select Wipe -> Data then Enter Yes to Wipe your Data First.
2. Download Superuser.zip from this link Download Superuser
3. Then Select Install and Select Superuser.zip Swipe to confirm flashing of superuser file.
4. Click on back then reboot system.
